Betty and her husband, Terry, moved to Whitney in
2012 after retiring from jobs in Midland, Texas where
she was a counselor, music teacher and administrator
in Midland ISD. She began accompanying the choir at
White Bluff Chapel in 2012 and has enjoyed numerous
opportunities to work and volunteer at the Chapel
since moving here. Currently, she is the Pastoral
Care/Outreach Coordinator for White Bluff Chapel.
She loves being involved in the Whitney community
and recently served as the President of the Lake
Whitney Ministerial Alliance from 2018 - 2020. In her
spare time, she plays the piano, reads and enjoys her
children and grandchildren who live in Waco, Midland,
and Durango, Colorado.
